The store’s first birthday celebrations start tomorrow, Friday 23rd February and continue on Saturday 24th at Unit 3, Mulberry Walk, and include special offers and an artisan celebration cake.
Visitors during the anniversary celebrations can pick up £1.50 off vouchers entitling them to money off the World’s oldest Cornish pasty maker’s hand-crimped medium steak pasties and their delicious fresh sandwiches. The bakery will also be specially decorated for the occasion helping to get everyone in a celebratory mood.
Commenting on the one year anniversary, Chairman of Warrens Bakery, Mark Sullivan says:
“As the first store outside of the West Country, the Mere Green bakery will always be incredibly special to us. Its opening signalled the start of our expansion across the nation, an extremely exciting time for the business. Since Mere Green’s opening we have opened a further 12 stores across the country. We’re delighted with how the local residents have embraced Warrens Bakery and look forward to many more successful years ahead.”
Working in partnership with Warrens Bakery, George Abuaita, says:
“It has been a great year for our first Warrens Bakery franchise store. We have learnt a lot, listening to our customers and our team has helped us to make the brand even stronger than when we started. We are now ready to expand in the Midlands area and our second store will open in Kenilworth on the 28th March.”
