What: Charity Jazz Night
Where: Walmley Social Club, 4 Fox Hollies Rd, Sutton Coldfield, B76 2RJ
When: Friday 16 March 2018, 7pm
The charity KIDS West Midlands – that supports local disabled children, young people and their families – is holding a Jazz Night this month to raise funds toward their Holiday Caravan.
Join them for a cool evening of music from the fabulous Suzi Woods and friends. The evening will include a performance from Suzi & her band followed by a DJ until late.
In addition KIDS West Midlands will be holding a raffle & whiskey roll during the evening.
All proceeds from the event will go towards KIDS Holiday Caravan, which provides an opportunity for families of disabled children and disabled young people to get away for a weekly stay or short weekend break in the beautiful Cotswolds.
The caravan can accommodate up to five people and has a small exterior decked area and a wheelchair ramp.
Singer/Songwriter Suzi Woods’ music is influenced by her love of the Golden Age of the American Songbook as well as movie musicals ranging from 50s to modern day classics. All reflected in her love of the superbly glamorous evening dresses she wears for her performances.
Tickets are priced £10 per person and can be purchased online via the the KIDS website at: https://www.kids.org.uk/Event/jazz-night
Alternatively, they can be purchased directly from Walmley Social Club.
