Sutton Has Musical Talent returns to the Royal Town tomorrow (Saturday 7 July) with performances by local talent in the Gracechurch Centre from 12noon.
Part of Sutton’s Month of Music celebrations Sutton Has Musical Talent will showcase shortlisted artists competing to be crowned winner in front of a live audience. The panel of judges will include representatives from the Sutton Observer, Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID, The Gracechurch Centre and the long-established and well-loved local live music venue, the Three Tuns.
Last year’s competition winner Christie Reeves will also be back to showcase new music after a massively successful year, which has seen her current single, “Temptation” reach the A-list on Brum Radio.
Mike Bushell, Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID Manager, said:
“We are delighted to welcome the return of the Month of Music Festival for its second year.
“The Sutton Has Musical Talent competition provides the perfect platform for up and coming musicians in the local area. The inaugural event saw us blown away by the outstanding level of talent from applicants and fantastic reception by the public.”
Sutton Has Musical Talent runs from 12pm at The Gracechurch Centre, with the winner being announced at around 3pm.
