On Saturday 24th November at 7.30pm, Brummie rock and R&B legend The Steve Gibbons Band comes to central Sutton’s Holy Trinity Parish Church off Mill Street.
Birmingham-born Steve has had a music career spanning 50 years as singer-songwriter, musician, composer, and record producer. His Top 20 hits included 1977’s “Tulane”.
As well as releasing 14 albums and a string of hits including the 1977 classic “Tulane” with MCA and Polydor Records, The Steve Gibbons Band has toured with ELO, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and The Who. Steve even wrote the title track for Roger Daltrey’s solo album “One of the Boys”.
Nick Revell, Chair of Friends of Holy Trinity, who are presenting the concert, commented:
“Steve is local rock royalty and I am delighted that we’re stretching the genres we present with our debut rock night. The concerts we present maintain a high benchmark of being of the highest quality and stonkingly good entertainment!”
