CHENNAI, a local Four Oaks restaurant, has once again agreed to sponsor local cricket side Four Oaks Saints for the 2018 season. This is the second year in succession that the Sutton Coldfield eatery has sponsored the side.
Owner Paul Mazumder, who has generously supported local sports clubs, said:
“I want people in the area to be proud of Chennai as a local business supporting local activities”
Four Oaks Saints club chairman, Russell Longhorne said:
“This kind of support is absolutely fantastic for grass roots clubs like ours. We are offering cricket to over 100 juniors on Thursday and Friday nights, as well as running six teams across the weekend – mens and ladies.”
Saints first season partnering with Chennai was a success as their 1st XI were promoted back into the Warwickshire Premier League. So far their 1st XI sit fifth in the 2018 campaign, proudly wearing the Chennai logo on their shirts.

Paul Mazumder, who has previously run restaurants in Moseley, established Chennai in 2017 and the business has been well reviewed in the local area.
